With a proven instinct for promoting musical talent, Max is one of the most able and experienced music industry professionals working with musicians today. Max started out as a promo man in Philadelphia working for independent record distributors. He frequently called on Dick Clark who asked Max to help him develop the pilot show for American Bandstand. Max brought Chuck Berry to perform live for the pilot and before long, American Bandstand had become a pillar of American music. Through these and other affiliates, Max helped launch the careers of many musical giants. He stands among those who helped build the industry and transformed many sensational rock and roll, jazz and blues artists from obscurity into the major recording, radio, television and concert hall superstars that fans continue to revere and listen to today.
